One of the projects that Disney will bet on will be its new live-action version of Pinocchio, one of the classics that will come from the hand of Robert Zemeckis, revealed a first look at what this incredible wooden doll will be like.
The image was among a variety of other advances that promote the platform event, Disney + Day, which will be on September 8th, in which they will present the projects they have planned, while the tape will be available after the event.
Meanwhile, fans of the original 1940 animated film will be pleased that the wooden doll’s appearance is taken directly from that film.

This is a fairly important improvement, since in the previous promos and even in the first trailer, the appearance of Pinocchio was played with, as well as only a silhouette was shown.
Pinocchio will star Tom Hanks as Geppetto, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Pinocchio, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as Jiminy Cricket, Cynthia Erivo the Blue Fairy, Keegan-Michael Key as Honest John and Lorraine Bracco as a seagull named Sofia.
Pinocchio will be released alongside other major productions such as “Cars on the Road“, “Frozen Sing-along“, “Frozen 2 Sing-along“, “Thor: Love and Thunder” and “Obi-Wan Kenobi: A Jedi’s Return“.
