Tesla director Elon Musk had twins in November 2021 with a COO of Neuralink, another of his companies, bringing the number of his living children to nine, according to a Business Insider article, published on Wednesday, June 6th.
The businessman and Shivon Zilis made a request to a court in Texas to change the names of the two babies. They wanted to give him the father’s last name and as a middle name, the mother’s last name. His request was approved, according to the article.

Shivon Zilis is the director of operations and special projects at Neuralink, a billionaire company specializing in neural implants. The twins were born in December, just weeks before Musk’s second daughter with musical artist Grimes. About their relationship, the artist said:

“We live in separate houses. We are best friends. We see each other all the time… (…) I don’t expect people to understand“.
The also director of Space X has had six children with Justine Musk (Wilson) in the 2000s, but one of them died a few weeks after his birth.
