A man left passengers he was flying with on American Airlines speechless after he boarded the plane with a big Great Dane dog. He uploaded the video showing the boarding on TikTok and it quickly went viral.
Reportedly, Gabriel Bogner, the dog’s owner, booked three seats including the one he was going to sit on. Bogner himself stated that he wanted him and his pet to travel comfortably and with proper space in the aircraft.
The 27-year-old man was traveling from Los Angeles to New York City. His beloved dog, named Darwin, is five years old and boarded the American Airlines plane along with her owner. The video, which can already be seen on multiple platforms, shows Dawin peeking his head into the cabin and he she can also be seen looking at people seated in the row in front of him. About the experience, Bogner said:
“People were absolutely gobsmacked and shocked, but everyone was so excited to see her. I’ve never seen so many people smiling at an airport.”
The young man stated that people were shocked after considering the pet’s size. He affirmed that it was “definitely a shocker for people walking through the airport to see a literal horse coming towards them.”
Darwin, who could not travel in the cargo boxes because of her size, decided to spend some time on the floor. After this, the crew allowed her to sit next to their chairs. According to his owner, Darwin is a support animal he trained since the canine was a puppy.
