Texas teacher loses her job after complaning about her sister dating a white man

A Texas elementary teacher was fired from her job after posting “racist” remarks on one of her social media accounts. According to the school system, the African American educator complained about her sister dating a white man.

Following the woman’s statements, The Mesquite Independent School District , announced on Tuesday, August 8, that the teacher would no longer work at the school after they had become aware of her posts on the social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter. ” As of this morning, the employee is no longer a part of the Mesquite ISD organization and is not eligible for rehire,” the school said.

On her social media profile, the woman talked about how annoyed she was with her sister for dating a white man. Reportedly, she asked her boyfriend to kill this man as a joke, according to Texas media outlet, Dallas Morning News. The teacher would call herself Claire Kyle on her profile and write offensive words toward white people. “I enjoy being racist! I’m never changing.” She stated in one of her posts.

In addition, she identified herself as a “black supremacist” and said the school’s principal was already aware of her posts before she lost her job, but clarified that, supposedly, that was not a problem. “Yes. Y’all have found my job. They told me to delete the post but my job is safe since I did not directly wish harm on ALL white people,” the teacher said on Monday. “They laughed and told me to watch what I say and I’ll be good to go!”

Consequently, the former teacher was eventually fired and Mesquite ISD said that the words posted to her X account do not reflect values or standards in the school and later clarified that the District condemned these statements.
