New My Hero Academia movie is announced

My Hero Academia is reaching one of its peak moments in the anime series. The show has been packed with tons of action, great animation, special effects, and impressive character development in its latest animated arc. Given these reasons, it is no surprise that My Hero Academia’s creator, Kohei Horikoshi, officially announced the release of a new movie for the franchise.

The upcoming issue of the manga (where the animated series come from) has an announcement on its pages for the fourth movie of My Hero Academia. In addition, a message from Horikoshi himself can be seen in the issue. According to him, the fourth movie will take place after the events seen in the sixth season of the anime series called The Paranormal Liberation War. This means the series will be the chaotic society fans got to see earlier this year.

The information came from an X post, formerly Twitter, which translated the words from the manga creator into English. Horikoshi started the announcement saying “Hello everyone, I’m Kohei Horikoshi author of My Hero Academia. A 4th movie for MHA has just been confirmed!” In the next lines, he added “Bones and Toho (animation studios) are already working on new seasons of the anime nonstop, so I was really surprised when they told me there would be a new movie.”

No more information was given at the moment, and no trailer or release date has been announced. Still, fans of the beloved series are for sure hyped about the exciting official release of a new movie. The manga pages are currently going through their final chapters, so this only adds up to the excitement fans have!
