A woman, who was a passenger on a Spirit Airlines flight, urinated on the floor of the aircraft. Allegedly, the Florida-based company did not allow her to use the washroom after she had been asking for access to that area for a couple of hours.
According to reports, the woman claimed she was forced to actually urinate mid-flight after Spirit Airlines refused to let her in the lavatory. Supposedly, the woman had been waiting for two hours but could no longer hold her necessity. A crew member of the airplane recorded a video of the incident.
Users across social media platforms promptly reacted to the situation. One of the comments reads “Even my cat is much cleaner and patiently waits for her litter to be changed.” Similarly, another person said, “Every day brings its share of civilizational decadence.” The description of the video talks about the incident in detail stating:
“An African American on board a flight @SpiritAirlines urinates on the floor because she doesn’t want to wait for them to open the lavatory after takeoff. The flight attendants, meanwhile, tell her she should drink water ‘because your pee smells bad.”
Spirit Airlines has not made an official statement regarding the unconventional behavior the lady had on the plane. On the same line, it is not the first time something like this occurs during a flight. For example, a passenger on a Wizz Air aircraft decided to urinate on the floor when she was told the lavatory was not available because the plane was being refueled.
