The Voice’s latest season came to an end in May, when Gina Miles took the title with her coach Niall Horan in the final episode of the show. The finale of season 23 also saw the departure of Blake Shelton, after being a part of the talent TV show for more than ten years.
Still, It seems that the secret for the show to continue running is to keep itself fresh. According to NBC, the coaches’ table will be having some adjustments with new additions coming to the show. As the upcoming 24th season heads closer, Gwen Stefani, John Legend, Niall Horan and newcomer Reba McEntire, will join the trio to complete the four faces who will train the participants.
McEntire is a familiar face to The Voice franchise. In concordance to a short interview of the singer with ET, she had been offered to be a spot in the original The Voice series in The Netherlands more than a decade ago. However, she rejected the offer because “I can’t see me doing that, Because, you know, I’m a gypsy at heart.” She later went to support coach in Blake Shelton’s team in 2011, 2015, and most recently was a Mega Mentor in 2023.
Additionally, other new names have also been added to the mix for the 25th season next year. Chance the Rapper and Dan+ Shay will make an appearance during the show. The latter is the first ever coaching duo the series have ever had in its history.
The Voice season 24’s premiere date is yet to be released, and more news and exciting changes to the show might be coming along the way.
