Businessman Elon Musk hired 14-year-old. Kairan Quazi, who will be one of the software engineers in his space exploration company, SpaceX.The prodigy now holds a record as the youngest software engineer employee in the entire world. He completed his studies at Santa Clara University in California.
During his childhood, Quazi’s parents recognized his potential when he effortlessly produced complete sentences at the age of two, solved complex math equations at the age of six and engaged in discussions regarding politics and economy with his teachers in primary school. About his struggles during that time of his life, he said:
I was physically painful for me to sit through classrooms trapped, existentially bored, for hours and months, and eventually years , on end, and not learning at the level that I physically, intellectually and emotionally needed.
Unfornately, the prodigy’s journey hasn’t been easy. He applied for more than 100 jobs and was rejected for almost all of them. However, as he was to finish his computer and engineering program at Santa Clara University, he received Elon Musk’s company job offer.
In addition, Quazi also had a Linkedin profile where he carefully compiled all of his competences and studies. He has stated that it was his dream to have a career tackling challenging issues and effecting radical innovation in service of the common good. After the job position he will now be an official SpaceX employee in the Starlink team. About the ground-breaking news, he said:
I will be joining the coolest company on the planet as a software engineer on the Starlink engineering team. One of the rare companies that did not use my age as an arbitrary and outdated proxy for maturity and ability.
