The Iron Man character has always been one of the favorites by superhero fans. Sadly, Tony Stark’s death in “Avengers: Endgame” left a gap and the public is missing him more than ever. In addition. The original Iron Man movie accomplished so much, and it helped everyone involved in its making: it catapulted Robert Downey Jr’s career again, and put Marvel Studios on the spotlight, which led to bigger films coming eventually, such as Black Panther or Avengers.
Due to the previous reasons, Disney and Marvel are teaming up, yet again, to re-release the first Iron Man movie in a special version. As hard as it is to believe, the very first motion picture was premiered fifteen years ago, in 2008. The lifespan of the superhero in the Marvel movies extended for a long period of time and has had fans loving the character (and the actor) even if he is no longer a part of the cast.
The streaming service, Disney+, took the unique occasion to Twitter, where a brand-new trailer of the 2008 film was posted. In the video, a re-imagined video of what the trailer could have been in its time can be seen.
According to Collider, the re-released of Iron Man will be available on Blu-ray on September 5. This new version will come with a number of different features to make the purchase much more valuable to fans, especially for those who love collectibles. The movie will come encased in an exclusive steel book packaging, which was done as a part of Walt Disney’s 100th Anniversary celebration. In addition, the special box set includes the movie on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, in addition to a digital code to stream it online.
