Former United States President Donald Trump, who is currently the favorite candidate to represent the Republican Party in the 2024 elections, was inducted with 37 federal charges for declassifying secret information after leaving the White House.
The accusation was reported this Thursday, June 8, by former president Donald Trump himself, on his social network. This opens up another exceptional episode in the history of American policies and laws, before an avalanche of expectant and unpredictable results.
Trump must appear before the Federal District Court of Miami next Tuesday, June 13 at 3:00 pm. It was also announced that his two lawyers Jim Trusty and John Rowley left their position and are not longer representing the Republican Politician. He confirmed his legal team will be changing to handle new cases.
The federal indictment, which was made public last Friday, June 9, by the District Attorney in charge of the investigation, Jack Smith, includes accusations regarding unlawful retention of Defence information, obstruction, conspiracy, along with espionage charges.
The investigation emphasizes that the former president kept files related to the United States nuclear program. These were allegedly kept hidden in his ballroom, shower, bathroom, bedroom, office, and at a storage cellar in his Mar-A -Lago mansion.
