NBA 2K23 will be free-to-play in the Nintendo Switch

Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will be able to play the full version of the NBA 2K23 basketball video game for free, starting from June 7 to the 13th. Nintendo announced the good news earlier today, June 3. As a result, all users with a Switch Online subscription will be able to enjoy the sport’s title next week as part of the sample video games catalog.

In this game, users will be able to play as their basketball stars within popular NBA teams. About the title, its official website states:

NBA 2K is the ultimate experience for basketball stars in the making, sending you on an immersive journey and bringing your NBA dreams to life. Whether you’re new to the series or a returning player, mastering your craft takes practice and we’re here to help coach you through the fundamentals of the game and level up your skills.

The game is still polishing the basis of what its previous releases NBA 2k21 and 2k22 were. In terms of playability, it does not appear to be a revolution for the saga, but it does have noticeable improvements here and there that fix issues from the NBA’s previous releases. Thanks to this, matches are much more enjoyable and look much more appealing to the eye. This year’s video game is superior by all means compared to previous efforts and is set to pull basketball lovers in.
