Nintendo reveals the new Joy-Con controllers in pastel colors

In a surprising move, Nintendo has announced their new Joy-Con collection that will be arriving to stores (and fans’ shelves) very soon. The Japanese company revealed 4 brand-new pastel colors for the Switch console. The devices will come in: pastel pink, pastel yellow, pastel purple, and pastel green.

Following the big news, lots of players and fans got excited with the announcement and are preparing their wallets for the official launch of the products. The new pastel tones appear to be attractive and make a change-up some users were expecting to have, after the colors of the console have become too traditional.

However, some other users took the occasion to complain about the so-called Joy-Con drift, in spite of the stylish and colorful news Nintendo had just made. These players have expressed that they will probably not purchase the new products in fear of them getting Joy-Con drift, which is a movement problem the controllers get after being used for some time.

Other fans showed their anger, as Nintendo has not given a permanent solution to its hardware issue, which has been affecting a number of players. One of the users who took Twitter to express their discomfort sates:

The fact that Nintendo not only got away with never having to fix their completely broken hardware but also is still selling new versions of it to this day has to be the biggest heist in video game history

The new controllers are set to be released on June 30, as the company’s announcement came late Thursday. They will be sold for $79.99 dollars a pair, and will feature a wrist trap and the rumble tech, just like the traditional Joy-Con controllers the company has previously released.
