Barbie’s new movie is coming up with some great tunes. With the premiere of the film coming soon on July 21, the artist line-up featured on the film’s soundtrack was now revealed on Thursday, May 25.
Different artists have already been confirmed to bring life into the motion picture with music. Some of them are Charlie XCX, Lizzo, Nicki Minaj, GAYLE, Karol G, Ava Max, or The Kid LAROI. As Ice Spice and PinkPantheress are present on the list, that could probably mean their hit “Boy’s A Liar” might be part of the movie soundtrack.
Dua Lipa, who will be playing Mermaid Barbie in the film, is in charge of the main song for the movie. Titled “Dance The Night,” it was released onThursday evening. In addition to that, Ryan Gosling, who is playing Ken, is also featured on the track list.
The album’s soundtrack, which is executively produced by Mark Ronson, was revealed on Instagram, with a picture of Margot Robbie, who plays the main Barbie character, reading a pink newspaper. The names of all the artist which are featured on the project are printed behind the paper as it reads “More Barbies & Kens to be announced” which leads fans to think even more singers will be included in the film’s music album. We have yet to see if all these names will have brand-new songs or are set to participate in the project with their already well known hits.
