Miley Cyrus reveled she will not be going on the road to promote her latest album, “Endless Summer Vacation,” earlier this year. This was made even clearer with a new message Cyrus posted to social media, in which she explains touring is not “right for her anymore” and has no plans to get back to it for the time being.
The singer told British Vogue magazine she would not be touring in support of her latest album. Despite doing some festivals and performances in the previous year, the last time she actually went on the road was ten years ago, in the 2014 “Bangerz” Tour. When explaining her reasons, Cyrus stated that stadium and arena performances are “isolating” and “not natural.”
Later on, she affirmed “Not only ‘can’t’, because ‘can’t’ is your capability, but my desire. Do I want to live my life for anyone else’s pleasure or fulfillment other than my own?” The pop-star expressed in reference to the discomforts she has had to face over the years while traveling around different cities to perform her songs.
Finally, she posted a letter to Twitter in which she talks about the current state of her life and how the life on tour does not match what she desires right now. “Love you forever, I’m just on my Endless Summer Vacation” the words say.
