Kid was wrapped around a dust devil at a baseball game in the United States

An impacting video has gone viral in social media. It’s about the impressive moment in which a little whirlwind, in the United States, known as “dust devil,” took a young baseball player by surprise in the Fort Caroline Athletic Association field.

As the kid was playing the game, the dust and ground whirlwind was formed and caught him. At that moment, the umpire decided to run towards the kid and took him in his arms to pull the child out of the dust devil.

After this incident, social media users are now praising the umpire’s bravery and his ability to make a quick decision during such a surprising event. Despite these whirlwinds being small, as it can be seen in the video, experts say they can cause significant damage, as it is possible for them to reach up to 100 km/h and might be formed with ground and rocks.

Fortunately, after the man’s timely intervention, the child was able to be pulled out of the incident with no injuries or wounds, and was good to go back to the game after his dad poured water on his face. At the end, users have expressed the admiration towards the referee for acting quickly and making the right decision. This incident has also reminded people to be aware of sudden changes in weather conditions as well as to act quickly and calmly in these situations.
