Ticketmaster changes director due to scam scandals

Music has an impressive way of connecting with people, making the bond between artist and consumer very close to the point of creating a bond. There are many people who claim to know a celebrity well enough to form some sort of friendship or relationship.

More than once we have read seen or heard of fans supporting their favorite artists, who would be willing to go to great lengths to be near them, including concerts.

Concerts are the ultimate moment where a celebrity can be in close proximity to their fans and what better than to chant the songs that everyone knows.

One of the world’s most famous ticketing platforms specifically for concerts, Ticketmaster has been involved lately in scamming problems that have left thousands of people out of their concerts with cloned tickets.

One of the most notorious cases was the failure of the platform after the irregular sale of Bad Bunny’s tickets in Mexico.

It was through a press release that Ticketmaster announced that its new director will be Ana María Arroyo, who will replace Lorena Baz, after the recent scandals that the company experienced in Mexico.

“His achievements in the evolution of the ticketing industry in Mexico will always be a benchmark of professionalism to follow. We are confident that he will continue to conquer new heights in OCESA’s business development area,” the statement said.
