US Army in crisis due to issues with the recruitment of new personnel and a lack of volunteers

In the newest statement released by the United States Army, they alert the general public of the latest problem they are facing, which is a lack of personnel on the militia.

According to their claims, the US Army is having issues getting the human resources that are required by their new security scheme for 2023 which aimed for a significant increase in the number of soldiers in all ranks of power.

The matter becomes more relevant when the new scheme was announced with a brief period of time to be made effective, meaning that they are currently heavily understaffed.

The international landscape with the constant tensions created by North Korea and their nuclear program, which has been highly active lately, was the main motif for the restructuration of the scheme.

Following the international trend, the US Army is also requiring a higher number of soldiers ready to defend their territory, mostly for security measures and as a show off, since most political analyst claim that the possibility of a new war breaking out is, fortunately, quite low.

The primary reason that the US army informed for the lack of personnel was that there was a significant reduction in the number of new soldiers coming from the voluntary enlistment. Boiling this down to digits, the expected number of new militants was around 60.000 for the last year, but only 44.900 were reported, meaning there is a 25% of unoccupied military spaces, around 15,000 units.

The new scheme has a budget for at least 500.000 active members in the militia, which is, at the moment, a goal still yet to be met.
