Judge orders to publish detailed document of the search warrant to the house of Donald Trump

A United States judge ordered this Thursday, August 25th, to publish a judicial document that exposes the motives behind the recent FBI raid on the Florida home of former President Donald Trump, but it will be a censored version.

The document, which must detail the motivations of the Justice Department and could reveal the identity of some people involved in the matter, must be published no later than August 26th, federal judge Bruce Reinhart ruled.

However, most elements of the raid will likely be kept secret, due to a request from the Justice Department, according to which there is a “compelling” need to hide important parts of the document.

The judge ordered at least part of the story to be published on August 22nd, citing public interest in the unprecedented break-in of a former US president. According to the authorities, however, it will need a retouch “so important that the rest of the disclosed text would be devoid of any significant content“.
