Everything you need to know about ‘House of the Dragon’ the spin-off of ‘Game of Thrones’

The premiere of ‘House of the Dragon‘, the spin-off of ‘Game of Thrones‘, arrives this August 21st on HBO Max. The story will be told in 10 episodes, which will premiere every week starting this Sunday.

The new HBO series is about a fantasy civil war called The Dance of the Dragons, which erupted after two Targaryens began a bloody dispute over who has the right to sit on the Iron Throne.

In this production we will see the history of the Targaryen family, the house where Daenerys, the mother of dragons or Khaleesi, came from. The series was based on the book ‘Fire and Blood‘ by George R.R. Martin and is set 200 years before the events of ‘Game of Thrones’.

The first episode is called ‘The Heirs of the Dragon‘ and the second ‘The Rogue Prince‘. HBO has not released the remaining eight episode titles. The series stars Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Fabien Frankel, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, and Milly Alcock.
