Adele is considered one of the greatest singers of today. To the surprise of fans, on Monday morning, August 15th, the diva appeared on the cover of Elle UK magazine and commented on various points in her career, including the cancellation of her residency concert in Las Vegas.

The singer continues to promote her latest album “30”, released in 2021, being the best-selling project of 2021 in the United Kingdom and the United States. The star has shown her passion for the stage and she was very excited to celebrate her residency in Las Vegas.

However, on January 20th, the singer used her social networks to report the cancellation of the series of shows that would take place at Caesars Palace Coliseum and among the main reasons were the advance of the new coronavirus pandemic and its variants, production problems and disagreements on the set.

It was the worst moment of my career by far. I was so excited about these shows. It was devastating. But other than that, the stage set-up wasn’t right. I was very disconnected from myself and my band, and lacked intimacy. And maybe I tried too hard to give these things away in such a controlled environment“, Adele said.

The first few months were really, really hard. But it built my self-confidence, because it was such a brave thing to do. And I don’t think a lot of people would have done what I did. I’m so proud of myself for standing up for my artistic needs“, she added.
