Steve Martin plans to retire after ‘Only murders in the building’

Steve Martin has decided to break the silence about his retirement. The 76-year-old actor has done it all in Hollywood, as he has worked as an artist, writer, musician, and comedian.

Right now he is succeeding with the series ‘Only Murders In The Building‘, which could be his last project. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Steve Martin broke the silence about his possible goodbye to acting.

When the series is over (‘Only Murders In The Building’) I’m not going to look for others. I’m not going to look for other movies. I don’t want to make cameos. This is, weirdly, it“, said Steve Martin.

Steve Martín has made several movies and only got his only Emmy in 1967, with ‘The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour‘. With the series ‘Only Murders In The Building’ he could win his second Emmy, as he is nominated in the Best Actor category.

Steve Martin’s career can be irregular with desire, especially during the last decades, however, the actor has on his resume milestones of television comedy such as ‘The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour’ and Saturday Night Live, as well as films as hilarious such as ‘A madman is on the loose‘, ‘A genius with two brains‘, ‘Three friends‘ or ‘Dead client does not pay‘.
