The FBI has searched Donald Trump‘s residence, Mar-a-Lago. This was declared by the former president of the United States in a statement where he revealed that they opened “even my safe“. It was an unprecedented event in the history of the United States in a long series of events that Trump has starred in in recent years.

The authorities have not confirmed or denied the action, which, according to various media outlets, could be aimed at seizing Trump documents. According to this unconfirmed information, the investigators could have taken up to 15 boxes with documents.

The former president is not at Mar-a-Lago. In keeping with his habit of escaping the Florida summer heat, Trump is at his country club in Bedminster, New Jersey, near New York City.

The reasons for the search are not known. But its meaning is logical. When entering a residence, the United States police consider that there may be clues in that home that help to clarify a crime.

Therefore, it is an indication that Trump is involved in the commission of a criminal act. What is difficult is to know for what possible crime the entry of the FBI has occurred, among the jurisdictions by which the former president is being investigated.
