One of the attractions of the trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard was the possibility of seeing some of the former couple’s famous friends on the stand. In the end, the most mediatic celebrity who ended up being called to testify was Kate Moss, the actor’s former girlfriend.
However, both parties mentioned in their respective testimonies such well-known individuals as Elon Musk, James Franco, Paul Bettany and Marilyn Manson, now court documents have come to light, collecting messages the latter exchanged with Depp.
In a conversation dating back to 2016, Manson assured his friend that he had an “Amber 2.0” case on his hands with a woman he referred to only as “Lindsay” and who it is believed could be his current wife Lindsay Usich. He also asked her to please delete the message after reading it.
“Don’t take no sh**t!!“, the actor replied.
“Trust me… sociopathic behavior… is f**king real, my brother!! My ex c**t is goddamn textbook“.

In another message, Marilyn Manson implied that someone in that same woman’s family had alerted authorities and that he was planning to go on the run.
“I have a very serious Amber case with the police and the family of L. I’m very stressed. I don’t know if you’re back, but I need asylum somewhere because I think the police might be on their way“, he confessed to her in writing.
The correspondence between the two friends was not used as evidence during the six-week media trial. Depp’s lawyers reportedly specifically asked for it to be excluded because they were concerned it could prejudice their client on the principle of guilt by association.
Marilyn Manson is facing his own legal problems after being accused of abuse by several of his former sexual and romantic partners, including actress Evan Rachel Wood.
