Anya Taylor-Joy, the star of one of Netflix’s most watched series, “Queen’s Gambit“, and musician Malcolm McRae, reportedly married in an intimate ceremony at a U.S. courthouse, after weeks of rumors claiming they were engaged.
According to Page Six, the couple are reportedly planning a larger ceremony to share their marriage with friends and family once they return to the U.S. after filming the ‘Mad Max: Fury Road‘ prequel in Australia.
Anya first sparked rumors that she was engaged to Malcolm last month when she was captured with a diamond ring on one of her fingers.

The couple, who are believed to have been dating for around a year, first appeared in public on the red carpet at Vanity Fair‘s Oscars after-party last February. However, it wasn’t until the following month that the actress made her first public comment regarding her then-boyfriend in an interview with British Vogue.
“I’ve finally found someone who feels happy while reading with me in silence. We’re basically 80 and seven at the same time, and it works really well“
