Good news for fans of ‘Game of Thrones‘. Jon Snow, one of the favorite characters from the famous series will also be having his own sequel. HBO would have confirmed the series that will focus on his character and it was even confirmed that Kit Harington will be returning to embody the same role in the new installment.
The Hollywood Reporter was the one to break the news, claiming that original ‘Game of Thrones’ star Kit Harington will reprise the role of Eddard Stark‘s son. There is no more information yet on which other characters may return. However, this is one of the various projects in the successful saga that HBO has confirmed.

Earlier this month, HBO programmer Kara Buckley talked about the different ideas they were working on to continue the legacy of the acclaimed series:
“We’re still developing a lot of ideas, and I think we’re really excited about what’s coming out later this summer. But we don’t feel the need to do another one unless we think it’s really exciting creatively“.
With the confirmation of this new Jon Snow sequel, there are now 7 projects of ‘Game of Thrones’ in the works in addition to ‘House of Dragon‘, the long-awaited prequel to the ‘Targaryen House‘, which will arrive on HBO on August 21st. Among the other announced prequels are: ‘10,000 Ships‘ (aka ‘Nymeria’), ‘9 Voyages‘ (aka ‘The Sea Snake’) and ‘Dunk and Egg‘.
