The film takes place in a secret prison used to conduct experiments involving mind control and mood manipulation. Although these experiments are conducted in the name of science and the rapid social reintegration of criminals, previous trailers and marketing material indicate that Steve (Chris Hemsworth) is a dangerous man to control other people’s lives, as he lacks of the ethical limits necessary to carry out such intrusive experiments.
“Spiderheard” is not an ordinary prison, it does not have cells or bars, it is a place where they play with their minds and emotions to push them to the limit. Jeff (Miles Teller) and Rachel (Jurnee Smollett) are the scientist’s guinea pigs who will try to outwit him to escape from the place.
