Jenna Ortega as Wednesday in the series about the daughter of ‘The Addams Family’

Soon we will know the way in which Tim Burton reinterpreted the universe of The crazy Addams, when the “new and twisted series” starring Jenna Ortega and entitled Wednesday finally premieres.

Wednesday Addams, original name of the character, will be the central axis of this Netflix production in which the student years of the eldest daughter of Gomez and Morticia Addams will be explored. Netflix shared the first trailer for the series, in which the actress can be seen adopting her character’s iconic look.

In the images released by the streaming platform, we see the 19-year-old actress appear under a dramatic overhead light wearing the classic black dress with a white collar and cuffs, and her hair styled in two braids with the variant that in this version appears with a fringe on the forehead.

Dedos also makes its appearance in the scene, the emblematic hand with its own life that is part of the world of The Addams Family. In this new version of the Addams, in addition to Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones will participate in the role of Morticia Addams, Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams and Christina Ricci.

Ortega, the protagonist of the Merlina series, participated in the most recent film of the “Scream” saga, along with Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox and David Arquette, and her credit appears in what will be the sixth installment of said franchise, which is in pre-production stage.
