Ruby Barker, who plays the character of Marina Thompson in Bridgerton, shared a video on Instagram in which she explains that she is currently admitted to a hospital due to mental health problems that she did not give details about.
Her prognosis is very positive and she hopes to be discharged soon to move on as soon as possible. Ruby spoke about her experience through social media and hopefully she hopes to help anyone who finds themselves in a similar situation.
“I’m better now. And I want to encourage others: If you’re struggling, please do yourself a favor. Take a break, stop being so hard on yourself. People always told me not to be so hard on myself, and I never I really knew what that meant“, he confessed.

The woman acknowledged that she became very ill due to an “intergenerational trauma” that made her feel as if she had the weight of the world on her shoulders. She ruby knew she couldn’t go on like this for much longer and she made up her mind to forgive herself and give herself a “break“.
In recent weeks, she took refuge and thanked Sexton‘s music, and the support she received from Shonda Rhimes, creator of the series. Ruby left the production of “West End Running with Lions” after contracting COVID-19 and seeing her mental state deteriorate, but now she wants to resume her career.
“I really want to fulfill all my commitments and have a good career and a good life. Because I don’t want my diagnosis to be a self-fulfilling prophecy.
