The Ellen DeGeneres show said goodbye to the American audience this Thursday, May 26th, and as planned, it had the presence of Jennifer Aniston as the last guest, thus referring to the fact that the ‘Friends’ actress was the first celebrity to sit on the famous talk show couches.
The Hollywood star gave Ellen a doormat that read “Thank you for the memories“, another nod to her first visit to the then-new show by the comedian, who gave her a similar doormat in 2003 after her appearance.

Jennifer also wanted to recall the situation in which she found herself almost 20 years ago. At that time, the star was still married to Brad Pitt, but shortly after the marriage ended in a traumatic divorce, which was followed by the confirmation that the interpreter was dating Angelina Jolie, now also her ex-wife.
“Well, then I got divorced and had to go to therapy. And on top of that I made a movie called The Breakup“, Jennifer recalled jokingly.
Now the artist couple maintains a fairly cordial bond: “We are friends again, at least at this particular moment,” she explained in a previous interview.
