In the entertainment world it is very common to compare new artists with old names in the industry and with Harry Styles, from very early on there have always been comparisons with Mick Jagger, and recently the lead singer of the Rolling Stones criticized these alleged similarities.
Comparisons between Harry and Mick range from the appearance and style of the two singers and even go to stage presence and artistic mannerisms. But for Jagger, the “As It Was” singer bears only a “superficial resemblance” to him. Criticism of these comparisons was made in an interview with The Sunday Times, when Jagger stated:
“I like Harry, we have an easy relationship. I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. Come on, I was much more androgynous”.
Jagger on Harry Styles: “I like Harry — we have an easy relationship. I used to wear a lot more eye make-up than him. He doesn’t have a voice like mine or move on stage like me; he just has a superficial resemblance to my younger self, which is fine — he can’t help that” pic.twitter.com/HndCK0SDYF
