Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul return for the final season of “Better Call Saul”

Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul will return to action to once again play the unforgettable Walter White and Jesse Pinkman in the final season of “Better Call Saul“, the spin-off of the acclaimed series “Breaking Bad“.

The news was confirmed by one of the co-creators of the series, Peter Gould, during a panel of the Paleyfest festival moderated by Variety, which took place last weekend of April 8 in Los Angeles, US. The writer said:

I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ say yeah. How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season

Gould invited fans to “discover that for yourself” the circumstances of these surprise appearances, he avoided offering further details, according to the renowned Variety website.

It would be a shame if the show ended without [Cranston and Paul] showing up, wouldn’t it?” another of the creators, Vince Gilligan, said days ago.

Later, the official Twitter account for the series confirmed the news on social media on Sunday, April 10th, getting mixed reactions from fans.

On the other hand, Bob Odenkirk, who plays the leading role in this installment, the lawyer Saul Goodman, pointed out that:

I personally feel that the two shows (Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) are entwined even more than ever in the final season. And I think that’s surprising and cool, and it’s gonna make you want to watch Breaking Bad again“, he said.
