Despite not having the same scope of productions like “Spider-man: No Way Home” or “The Batman”, “Morbius” is exceeding his own expectations, which fell significantly when poor reviews from critics shone, which is seen reflected with a bad rating. However, the perspective of the audience has contrasted with that of the press.
Comments from viewers have highlighted that the film meets the characteristics of an average superhero movie, thus clarifying that not everything is summed up in the MCU, which over the years has opted more for the show on the screen than for the history of said character in the comics.
Critics, on the other hand, have noted that the performances are solid, but the execution of the story ends up being forgettable, and even boring. When the first reactions of the press were revealed, it was speculated a failure in its box office collection, however, its impact in the United States has been a surprise.
