Teen dies after falling from an ICON Park ride in Orlando

A 14-year-old boy tragically died on the night of Thursday, March 24th, after falling from one of the world’s largest amusement rides, Free Fall, at ICON Park in Orlando, Florida, United States.

In social networks, a video circulates where the unfortunate accident is seen, which was captured by people who saw the attraction. In the images you can see the moment when the teenager falls from his seat, just when the machine descends.

The boy, whose identity was not revealed, fell face down while the people who witnessed the incident began to cry desperately for help. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital, but due to the severity of the trauma and injuries, he died upon admission.

After the audiovisual went viral, several users pointed out that it is the second time that a tragedy has been recorded in that park. In 2020, apparently, a worker fell from a height of 137 meters, when he was checking and supervising the popular game StarFlyer.
