Netflix had a surprise in store for us at the end of the second season of ‘The Witcher‘, because shortly after the credits begin we found the first spectacular trailer of ‘The Witcher: The First Witcher‘, the prequel to the series starring Henry Cavill.
The story of ‘The Witcher: The First Witcher’ is set 1200 years before the adventures of Geralt of Rivia and, as its title anticipates, it will tell us how the first witcher was created, as well as exploring the events that led to the Conjunction of the Spheres, the cataclysm that trapped several monstrous creatures in this dimension.

It is still unknown when we will be able to see ‘The Witcher: The first witcher’, but it is most likely that it will be released throughout 2022. In that way, it would serve to fill the void left by ‘The Witcher’ next year, 2023, as has confirmed a third season.
