South Korean series “Hellbound” has once again topped Netflix’s television series list, FlixPatrol, a platform that contains statistics on live streaming services, reported Monday.
According to the data revealed by FlixPatrol, the fantasy horror series “Hellbound” rose one place in the Netflix television series list, repositioning itself in the first place.
“Hellbound”, released last Friday, debuted at the top of the list, just one day after its launch, but on Sunday it lost the lead to “Arcane“, the new American animated series based on the video game “League of Legends“.
The South Korean series topped Netflix‘s list of series in 35 countries, including South Korea, Japan, Brazil, France and India. It ranked second in Chile, Greece and Peru and third in the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
“Hellbound”, based on the webtoon “Hell”, describes upheaval and social unrest after a series of inexplicable supernatural phenomena.
It is written and directed by Yeon Sang-ho from the 2016 zombie movie “Train to Busan” who also created the original webtoon.
