All about the next Netflix movie ‘Don’t Look Up’

Netflix finally released the full trailer for the movie “Don’t Look Up” on Tuesday, November 16th. The sci-fi comedy is coming to Netflix this Christmas, with a cast of Hollywood and music stars.

The cast of “Don’t Look Up” is undoubtedly what attracts the most attention due to Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence lead the team, which also features Meryl Streep, Timothée Chalamet, Ariana Grande, Cate Blanchett, Jonah Hill, Chris Evans, Himesh Patel, Matthew Perry, Ron Perlamn, Mark Rylance, Tyler Perry, Kid Cudi and more.

Professor Dr. Randall Mindy (Leonardo DiCaprio) and astronomy student Kate Dibiasky (Jennifer Lawrence) discover that a comet is about to collide with Earth. Despite the size of the threat, no one seems to really care. But things start to change with the help of Dr. Oglethorpe (Rob Morgan), who organizes a media tour from the office of President Orlean (Meryl Streep) and his sycophantic son Jason (Jonah Hill) to the Daily Airwaves, morning show hosted by Brie (Cate Blanchett) and Jack (Tyler Perry).

Now, with just six months to go to Earth, the two astronomers are racing against time to get media attention and an audience that seems more concerned with social media than their lives. And now, can they finally make the world look up?

Both the script and the direction are by Adam McKay, winner of the Oscar for the script of “The Big Bet“. The film will feature an unprecedented song called “Just Look Up” on the voices of Ariana Grande and Kid Cudi. The song is even nominated for an award: the Hollywood Music In Media Awards.

The release date for ‘Don’t Look Up’ will be on December 10th in select theaters and on December 24th on Netflix plataform.
